Start by taking everything out of your closet. Sort your clothes into piles of keep, donate, and consign. Be honest with yourself about what you wear and what you don't. If you haven't worn something in a year or more, it's probably time to let it go.
Before you consign anything, make sure it's in good condition. Check for any stains, holes, or signs of wear. Clothes that are damaged or in poor condition are unlikely to sell and may be rejected by Second Story.
Prepare your items for consignment. This may include cleaning and pressing them. Please bring them on hangers. We can return your hangers upon request.
Bring your items to Second Story and let us go to work. We will inspect your items, price them, and sell them with your approved invoice.
Collect your payment and decide what to do with the remaining items. We can donate them for you and put them to good use.
By cleaning out your closet and consigning your clothes, you can declutter your space, earn some extra money, and help reduce textile waste.
