The Stripe Trend

This week it is all about one of the hottest trends-STRIPES!! The funny thing is that stripes are actually such a classic print that have been around for centuries but it just happens to be having a HUGE moment in fashion right now. Every designer, fashion blogger and magazine are highlighting this fab look!

The blue and white stripe combo seems to be the hottest look and I love it because it is fresh and lightweight for these hot summer days! At Gee Loretta, we have this look in so many silhouettes-jeans, tees and button-up blouses, to name a few. The fabrications are blends of cotton, rayon and tencel which are so soft and wonderful! These fabrics make it so simple to wear-whether it is for work or play!

I see the striped looking flattering every figure and shape because almost all of the stripes run in a vertical pattern. Instantly elongates every figure and slims us down visually (HOORAY!). I also think that the button-up blouses are so classic. Several that we have in the store would look sharp with your favorite pair of shorts or you can take the same blouse and glam it up for work or a night out on the town with a slim skirt, great jewelry and a heel.
