Gee in the Que - Let’s Talk Hemlines!

Just because the hemline of your jeans are at the bottom, doesn’t mean it should be plain and boring! Your jeans are already your go-to staple, isn’t it time you stepped up your style game with a fun hemline?

Unique hemlines are the name of the game right now

Jeans have been around for decades upon decades. They are constantly being reinvented and they are a staple to street wear fashion. Jeans come in every color, style, shade and print that you could possibly think of which is why we love to live in our denim. There is just the right pair out there for everybody!

Unique hemlines are the name of the game right now. With so many options to choose from, you could wear a different pair of jeans everyday of the week! Go frayed, fringe, rolled, dyed, and anywhere in between that draws the eye down and add excitement to your outfit.

Frayed (raw) hem - The frayed hemline is huge right now! If you want to look instantly trendy, you will want to rush in and pick out a pair of frayed hem jeans. A good frayed hem is a little bit scraggly and a lot of fun. The best part of this trend is that everyone can wear it because its not limited to one particular denim fit. While you are out and about shopping, you will see the raw hem on every fit from skinny, straight, to flared styles. Add a chunky heel to add height and elegance!

Sharkbite - Similar to the raw hemline but is more asymmetrical and edgy! Add a texture or printed shoe to add to the fun elements of this hemline.

Scallop - This sweet hemline is all the rage during the warmer season. Lysse really knocked it out of the park with this feminine detail. This hemline hits right at the ankle which means that you can wear a lot of different options when it comes to shoes. Pair with a slide, sandal, or even a fashion sneaker.

Straight hem - This hem is a classic in the fashion world that looks great on anybody. I like to keep this look casual with a fashion sneaker for a look that is easy and simple!

●Step hem - This look is a shorter cut in front that shows off the ankle in a flattering way and the longer back hem adds versatility and gives the illusion of a longer leg. You can wear this look with heels AND flats without cuffing or adjusting.

The term “your basic tee shirt and jeans” won't exist in your vocabulary any longer. Stop into Gee Loretta this week to get your hands on your new favorite go to denim.
