Happy Labor Day to you!! We hope you are enjoying the nice, long weekend! If you are like me, September means that it is my cue to start sorting through my Fall wardrobe to figure out what pieces I want to add or replace in my closet.
Certainly there are a few shoes and boots that are ready to be retired and it got me thinking about the Footwear Trends for the season. I thought I would share the two MUST-HAVE additions we all need right now!
FASHION SNEAKER!! All of the designers are incorporating the athleisure trends into their collections and the runways were filled with models rocking a fabulous sneakers. They were worn them with everything from jogger pants to dresses! I love how adding a sneaker to your outfit can change the entire personality of your look. Seek out a sneaker with really special details such as metallics, embroidery or fur trim to take your look to the next level.
If the fashion sneaker intimidates you a little bit, come to Gee Loretta so we can show you all the fresh, fun ways to add a sneaker to your wardrobe!
The next must-have shoe for the season is a BOOTIE IN A NEW HUE! This season it is all about reaching for a short boot in
greys, reds or blues.
I know we are all going to still need that essential black boot in our closet, but this season it is about shaking things up a bit and adding a little pop of color with your footwear. Red is the biggest color of the season and it took over the magazine pages of my September Issues. I love the idea of adding a wine-colored boot to my closet to add that punch of color. I also am obsessed with how a dark navy boot will look gorgeous with my denim (not to mention give the illusion of a longer leg).
We have just received lots of fabulous new styles and we would love to show off all the beautiful designs I bought for the store for the changing season!!
Get ready to shop all the shoes starting tomorrow...we are enjoying a nice, long weekend ourselves! See you soon!
Loving Leopard, Ruffles & Rhinestones!
