A Play on Crochet

Have you been flipping through your In Style or Vogue magazines to get a little Spring Inspiration? I sure have and although the calendar still says January, my Instagram feed and Gee Loretta are filling up with fabulous Spring fashion.

One delicate detail that is popping up everywhere is this nod to crochet. Now, I know that sometimes you hear the word "crochet" and it conjures up "Grandma Vibes", but let me tell you that this trend couldn't be any more fresh and fantastic. Major designers (think Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu and beyond) are all adding crochet touches to everything from head to toe. Blouses, dresses, pants and shoes all had this beautiful texture incorporated into their designs. Of course, we are on our A-game and we have lots of these same details from Joseph Ribkoff, M Made in Italy and Alberto Makali right here at Gee Loretta!

I think it is something feminine and a look that everyone can easily add to their lifestyle-whether you love to get dressed up or live a more casual lifestyle.
